About Electronic Skills Programme - Level 0 Introduction
This course is the first of the Tech Lancaster programme which is non-technical and is designed to give you an overview of the programme, the Tech Lancaster consortia, the online learning platform and learning tips and general information about the electronics industry. In order to progress to the next course (TL1), you must complete the TL0 course. Please note that you will be invited to start the course on the opening date once you have successfully registered on the learning platform.
What do I need to know before I start?
We expect no prior experience of Tech Lancaster courses or knowledge about the electronics industry to complete TL0 as it is non technical. The aim is to introduce you to our programme and provide further helpful tips and information.
Educational Tutor - David Saul
David is a professional educator who also has experience working in the electronics sector. David is the point of contact for educational/learning related queries and is available to help ensure your learning experience runs smoothly. Any questions should be raised in the first instance in discussion forums or via a support ticket.
Industrial Tutor - Rich Grant
Rich is one of the consortia technical staff and is an electronics engineer at Milliamp Technologies and is available to assist learning activities.
Industrial Tutor - Don Parker
Don is one of the consortia technical staff and is an electronics engineer at Milliamp Technologies and is available to assist learning activities.
Enrolment Manager - Robbie Crowther
Robbie is course point of contact for any non-technical queries such as enrollment, admin and any other queries. He will also categorise and answer any support tickets raised.
Programme Manager - Nicola Mortimer
Nicola is one of the consortia staff and is responsible for ensuring delivery of the online learning programme and is also available to answer queries on how Tech Lancaster can support a career in electronics or similar technical roles.
